Kruger national park accommodation

Both the camping and bedded (accommodated) accommodation Kruger national park tours stay at one of the most beautiful safari lodges in the area, which is only 10 minutes from Kruger National Park. Timbavati safari lodge is a beautiful 3 star safari lodge has a large variety of wildlife including nyala, zebra, giraffe, blue wildebeest, impala, warthog and much more, which are often seen around the camp and chalets. There is a large swimming pool where clients can cool off at the end of the day after game drives, as well as a lovely bar by the pool where you can relax. Three course dinners will be prepared by the lodge's chef, and enjoyed in the restaurant by the pool. Some nights local kids from the nearby village come to the lodge to entertain the guests with traditional African dancing. These kids do it for themselves, and do not work for the lodge. They do not dance every night at the lodge, and rely on tips from the guests as an income.

Camping accommodation
The tents that we use, are 3 x 3 meters canvas dome tents, with built in floor and mosquito nets over the doors and windows. All doors, windows and mosquito nets close with zips to keep all insects out. Each tent has two proper single bed mattresses, and each client will have a fitted sheet to cover the mattress. Camping clients will need a sleeping bag, which you can rent at R60 per person (once off) from Livingstone Trails, if you do not have a sleeping bag of your own. These tents are permanently pitched in Livingstone Trails campsite. You do not have to pitch or break down tents while on our Kruger National Park tour. Camping clients must have own towels.

Bedded accommodation on our Kruger National Park tours
We have received many compliments from our bedded accommodation clients. Bedded clients stay in lovely chalets or rondawels with en-suite bathrooms. Bedding and towels are provided, and there are mosquito nets in all the rooms.
